Have you ever wondered why God didn't move sooner?
Maybe you've prayed the prayer, waited faithfully, and quietly wondered why He seems to be taking His time.
John 11 meets us in that tension.
It's the story of Jesus, Lazarus, Mary, and Martha, but it's also the story of every heart that has wrestled with God's timing. This chapter reminds us that even when God feels late, He has never stopped working. His delays are never without purpose, and His love is never absent.
As you open your Bible today, my prayer is that you'll find fresh confidence that God is still writing a story beyond what you can see today.

There is something beautiful about knowing we aren't opening our Bibles alone today. Women in different seasons and circumstances are reading these same words, bringing their own prayers, questions, and hopes before the Lord.
My prayer is that John 11 reminds you that waiting is never wasted in God's hands. Even when His timing doesn't look like we expected, He is present, He is compassionate, and He is always working for His glory and our good.

A Little Story Before We Go...
Every year I meet women carrying something they've been waiting on.
Myself included.
The hope of marriage.
Healing for someone they love.
A spouse to come to know the Lord.
A miracle baby.
Direction.
Freedom.
Peace.
While every story is unique, so many of our deepest longings are shared.
Sometimes the answer comes quickly. Sometimes it doesn't.
But one thing I've noticed over the years is this: when women begin sharing those places of waiting with one another, something changes.
They realize they aren't alone.
As we pray together, root for one another, and celebrate answered prayers together, there is a deep comfort in looking across the room and knowing someone else is choosing to trust God in the waiting too.
John 11 reminds us that God's delays are never evidence of His absence.
I've watched women cling to that truth together, and it has become one of my favorite reminders that we were never meant to wait alone.
If you're in a season of waiting today, my prayer is that you remember this:
God has not forgotten you.
He is still writing a story that will one day reveal His glory, even if you can't yet see how.
