I pray June is a month of good things.
Slower moments. Fresh air. Warm hugs. Encouraging conversations. Real friendship. Walks without destinations. Sundays without your phone. Extra sleep. Surprising new friendships.
I hope June is a month where we learn to expect the unexpected in the best ways.
Kindness. Rest. Hope.
June is an opportunity to move a little slower and a little closer to the One who is trustworthy and the giver of every good gift. God delights in being a faithful provider who loves to bless us. I pray we would desire to rest in Him this month, anticipating small joys all around us.
Scripture to dwell in this month:
James 1:17: "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change."
Matthew 7:11: "If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!"
Psalm 84:11: "For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor. No good thing does he withhold from those who walk uprightly."
Deuteronomy 7:9: "Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations."
Philippians 4:19: "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus."
