God is in the details and blesses our founder, Britt, with His heart to bless women with each retreat we launch. It's always different and Spirit led. It's our JOY to share how God moves with each donor. You can expect us to be in touch as your donation blesses women. We pray our retreats not only bless the women in attendance but also the women in our community that see what God is doing from afar!
We created these weekends because of a vision God gave our founder that He has peace and connection for women through them. We desire to give Christian women space to eliminate distractions in their lives and experience the peace and presence of God. These weekends gather the most incredible women who are kind, inclusive and desiring rich connection with others, God and themselves. Join us for a weekend in our favorite beach town, Seaside, FL, for private chef meals, a luxury beach home, a walkable beach town with all the food, shopping and beach club access a girl could dream of. Our time together is invaluable as we steward the perfect balance between organized group time and space to move at your own pace, doing whatever your heart desires! You will not need to worry about a thing all weekend from arrival to departure. We host worship, devotionals and small groups at the home and encourage time to rest in your own cozy corner of the house or on one of our porches! We believe God moves in lasting ways among our retreat guests through the deepening of their awareness of His presence, trust in His plan and newfound Christian friendships that will go far beyond our few days together. Why we created this tool:
A spiritual revolution is about to take place as we intentionally invite the Holy Spirit to guide us away from distractions and closer to God.
During this period, we will be fasting from busyness, comparison, and overwhelm (to name a few) with the hope of finding more of Jesus when our hearts are focused less on the things of this world and more on His word.
This tool can be used at any point of the year, but you may find this 40-day period to be more intentional during the Lenten season of repentance and solitude as we remember Jesus' death and celebrate His resurrection.
What to expect:
This devotional and prayer guide includes 40 daily devotionals followed by daily prompted prayer space for journaling.
My hope and prayer is that this tool will walk us through 40 intentional days focused on identifying distractors so we might be more prompt to recognize and fight off distractions in our daily lives beyond this 40-day period.
We hope these pages will be used for the Holy Spirit to:
- prompt us to fast from routine distractions in our life that may be pulling us away from intimacy with Him
- guide us to open our Bibles routinely and read His true word
- protect our quiet and intimate moments of solitude in His presence
- prompt written prayers to enrich our awareness of and dependence on Him
