I came alone

It was my second year to attend and once again God placed a great group of women he hand picked to spend the weekend together and connect, relate, and encourage one another. I went into this weekend knowing a few familiar faces from last year and walked away with a handful of new friendships and phone numbers to keep in touch. It’s always so special to me how God places people in your life to meet you and help you where you are at. Everyone is so inviting and encouraging, even if you don’t know anyone you will easily always be invited by others to go places and do things. Don’t let not knowing anyone stop you from going and experiencing all the amazing things God does at these retreats. I left feeling restored, reconnected, heard, loved, and surrounded.

I Found a Space Where I Could Truly Exhale.

The retreat was such a beautiful and refreshing experience. From the moment I arrived, I truly felt surrounded-by God's presence, by peace, and by an amazing community of women from all walks of life. It was a safe, faith-filled space to rest, connect, and grow. Brittany and her team were incredible! Their attention to every detail and the way they cared for each of us made the entire weekend feel so special. The Seaside Chapel service, the professional chef dinner on the front porch, and the morning sunrise service were unforgettable highlights. I left feeling renewed, grateful, and reminded of how loved and surrounded we truly are. I will cherish the memories and the women I met forever!

I Found Belonging Across Generations.

This retreat was so special and made me feel so much more connected in my faith and being vulnerable. As being the youngest one here I can definitely say that hearing other women’s walk of life was so cool. Feeling surrounded by such a strong group of christian women made it such a safe space to talk about anything. Getting baptized this weekend was one of the best decisions I have ever made, not only getting baptized but the setting of being surrounded and the safety of this group was something I will never forget. Even in the business of life I can for sure say that having a time dedicated to relax and refresh through our faith was so important.

I came needing rest

I felt myself hanging on every word that was shared. God knew I needed this. It felt good to be away from any and all distractions. Everything was taken care of which made it easier to relax and be in the moment with no worries. ❤️

I almost didn't come
It all started with me hesitating to sign up for the retreat when a specific testimony caught my eye. HE knew the words I needed to see and the exact time to see it. He continued by setting a divine appointment with a group of 7 ladies throughout the weekend who surrounded me with unconditional love and support. I truly have never felt so seen as I did this weekend. Sis, ig you are walking through a valley right now, please hear me, don’t wait any longer to see what all God has for you here, plus HE provides life long battle buddies to do life with.

I left with lifelong friends.

Wheat and Honey Co has divinely changed the trajectory of my stubbornness and softened my heart to be able to raise my hand and be able to admit I need help, support and prayers through my waiting journey. These are my women to carry me through and I’m forever grateful for this weekend and what God has planted, sewed, grown and bloomed within ME! (Little ol ME!)

A Place Where Every Woman Has a Seat at the Table.

The women that I have connected with at the retreats that I have attended are truly one of a kind. I have formed genuine, life long friendships. Each and every one of the women I have met are truly a blessing in my life! The Seaside, Watercolor area has and will forever hold a special place in my heart because of the memories I’ve made there on the retreats! It is such a beautiful place! I am forever grateful for the opportunity to attend the Wheat and Honey Co. Wheatful Women retreats!

I Finally Had Space to Listen to God.

This retreat allowed me to be able to stop and just listen to God. It also allowed me to be able to meet some of the most amazing people. I will never forget this weekend, the time with God, and the people I meet. Thank you so much for letting me be able to have such an amazing opportunity!

The Kind of Care You Feel in Every Detail.
The intentionality and care you gave all of us is second-to-none. I am so thankful, we are all so thankful. Your team is gifted in demonstrating servant leadership. lt is so obvious that the Lord's favor is upon you all. My heart is full.

If You're Wondering If This Is For You...Just Go.

If you are like me and just naturally skeptical of being understood in a group of new people, I encourage you to JUST DO IT. Go. You will not regret it. The hosts are beautiful people with such sweet spirits and their obedience to take a leap when God asks is so admirable and encouraging. In short, just go.

I Needed Permission to Make Space for Myself and God.

Making time for myself is so hard to do. This is my second year, and each year a million things “come up” to distract or discourage me from the weekend…. But the dedicated time for myself and the Lord proves to be invaluable yet again this year!

The Space I Didn't Know I Needed.

This trip is the ultimate “me time”. I can focus solely on my own rest, relaxation and growth without the outside stresses of work, family, friends, or just life in general. After going two years and meeting two different groups of women, I’m so thankful for each person and what they brought. From the friends who came together to the girls who didn’t know anyone, everyone left with a sense of growth, better self understanding and plenty of new friends from across the country!

Everything Was Thoughtfully Prepared. All I Had to Do Was Arrive.

Brittany has a heart for creating a space for women to connect, rest and be pointed towards the Lord. She has achieved that space with this weekend. From the moment you walk in the door, the hosting team is there to take care of you, so you don’t have to think about what you need. It’s all already there, with a smiling, friendly face.

For a Few Days, I Didn't Have to Carry Everything.

I was well taken care of and didn't need to concern myself with anything.

A Weekend That Refreshes Your Whole Soul.

A beautiful blend of welcoming community, restorative rest, meaningful conversations, & worship. From the incredible food to the thoughtful touches in decor ~ every detail is intentional. I am so filled, so humbled, & so grateful to be a part of this weekend. Would absolutely recommend for any woman looking for soul rest & retreat. Jesus is so kind!

You Don't Have to Know Anyone Before You Go.

The hosting team is wonderful and prayerfully chosen, the food is delightful, the scenes are delicious, and the company in the other retreat attendees is LIFE GIVING. I do not regret coming back at all, and will be on board to come for the years to come. If you come with a friend, or by yourself, you will feel included, loved, and seen. Do not question coming on this trip. Just come.
