Season of Sowing: Surrender

SEASON OF SOWING: SURRENDER

Surrender declares, whatever the cost, “I’m all in”. Going all in with God severs the ties of us clinging to our own control.

“Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.” 2 Corinthians 9:6

If we choose to sow sparingly in faith, we may miss out on experiencing the fullness of the fruit our good father longs to gift us.

Do you feel God calling you to love someone you’re struggling with? To quit your job and take that new opportunity? To start a ministry out of your comfort zone? To invest in a new beginning?

Lay down the fear and take a leap of faith by planting your seed with expectant hope.

When we declare to The Lord that we trust in what He is asking us to sow, we begin to witness and walk in the freedom found in letting go.

As Christians, the biggest problem with unhealthy comparison is that it misplaces our passion for building the Kingdom of God onto building our own kingdoms of self. Comparison strips us of seeing what God has given us and called us to.
