Dear Sister, we’ve got you covered!
I had always been told that “Seaside hit different” when it came to beach escapes ~ as if it was a best kept secret! Honestly, I was not even sure what that was supposed to mean to me. I was very familiar with multiple beaches in Florida and always had a great time, so what’s the big deal? Friends (regular 30A visitors) assured me that once I arrived I would understand.

First steps on the beach revealed bright white sugary sand against the shimmering emerald waters of the Gulf. Breathing deeply, eyes closing, soaking in the delicious salty air aromas. Digging my toes into the warm sand, grounding myself in a delightful way. Letting the sun kiss my skin in a long awaited reunion for this pasty gal, lol. Hearing the crashing of waves, the buzz of laughter, and the soft tones of chatter. Feeling so grateful to be exactly where I felt meant to be. Jesus is really kind.
Walking through the neighborhoods, I was struck by the effortlessly charming house architecture and the welcoming porches inviting me to stay awhile. The quietness of the community beckoned me to slow down my pace and align with a calmer rhythm. It’s amazing what removing the “hurry” can do for your soul!
I’ve obviously been fully converted to the “Emerald Coast crew” if you will. Have I convinced you yet?
